The new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018 and will impact on every organisation which holds or processes personal data. It will introduce new responsibilities, including the need to demonstrate compliance, more stringent enforcement and substantially increased penalties.
The CAM Academy Trust is strongly committed to protecting personal data. The following privacy statements describe why and how we collect and use personal data and provides information about individuals’ rights. It applies to personal data provided to us, both by individuals themselves or by others. We may use personal data provided to us for any of the purposes described in this privacy statement or as otherwise stated at the point of collection.
The Data protection Officer (DPO) for The Cam Academy Trust is Carolyn Ducket she has responsibility for ensuring that the schools within the Trust process personal information in the correct way.
