St Peter's is a 'Good' School!
I am delighted to inform you of the outcome of St Peter’s School’s Ofsted inspection that took place on 2nd/3rd March, the full report of which can be found at http://www.stpeters.cambs.sch.uk/page/?pid=288.
We are following the AQA A specification.
This is important to remember when looking for revision materials as content can vary between different specifications.
Students in group 11A1 are following the Triple Award route and will complete their exams in June 2014.
Students in groups 11Sc2 and 3 are following the Additional and core Science route and will take exams in June 2014.
Students in 11Sc4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and Year 10 are following core Science and will take exams at the end of Year 11.
All GCSEs also involve controlled assessments, which contribute 25% of the marks for the GCSE. These are carried out over consecutive lessons under controlled conditions, and every part must be completed in sequence. Full attendance for these sessions is therefore of the utmost importance.
For each GCSE, the following units will be assessed:
Core Science – B1, C1, P1 and controlled assessment
Additional Science – B2, C2, P2 and controlled assessment
Biology – B1, B2, B3 and controlled assessment
Chemistry – C1, C2, C3 and controlled assessment
Physics – P1, P2, P3 and controlled assessment
